the perfect book for this on my TBR. 3 PAGES TOO SHORT!

I had that same problem with that book with the museum challenge. Rusalka had written an interactive task but she poo-pooed the book. It was after that I realized the book was too short anyway.December would be a good month to clear it off our tbr's.

Happy new year :) For the location task: one-word titles, does that mean no subtitles? Most of my books are nonfiction, and they always have subtitles!
I want to read Quackery: A Brief History of the Worst Ways to Cure Everything (but I totally understand if the subtitle disqualifies it).
As per the rules, sub-titles don't count.

Circles as a design element. Those circles represent a dart board, but it's definitely circles and not a dart board. Would you call that a design element? I think it is, because not only does it represent a dart board, but it becomes a letter in the title. It's your lucky day. :)

Lucky, Pat! I thought she was going to tell you no at first.I gave up on Stephanie Plum after book #23. I couldn't take it any more. I hope you enjoy it.

I don't read her often enough to give up on her. I'm not much of a series reader, and most series that I DO read, I don't read in order, so the whole idea of them is pretty much wasted on me. LOL

LOL.."When I first discovered Stephanie Plum, I was just getting into audiobooks, and a friend and I started listening to the series books while we knitted, not in any order, but just as they became available. Later, I started reading the books, and started at the beginning untill I had read all that had been published, up to that point. After that, it was all - wait for the next book to come out and get in line to get a copy from my library. I loved the characters, but nothing ever changed, except a few plot elements.
I just gave up on being interested and moved on. :o)

Yep. Pretty much like that for me as well. I like the character herself, but she hasn't seemed to do anything really interesting in a while. The books are formulaic, and so they're a fast and easy read, but sometimes it feels like, "jeez, there should be something out there better than THIS...."
