I really really need to read this. I haven't found a single person who doesn't like it at least a bit
for those of you who haven't finished it, here what I think about it:it was a picturesque tale that was like looking into a camera lens, because that's how vivid and flowing the descriptions were. it captured my heart, fed the flames of exhilaration until it burned and burned my poor, fragile heart into ashes. I knew how the story would end, but alas, I made the big mistake of reading it. I really really recommend it, but get ready your tissue boxes.

oh ok! ty for the spoiler tho... (dw one of my friends already unbeknowstingly spoiled it for me anyway)
Ahh... I loved Song of Achilles when I read it. It makes the Iliad so much more approachable and it gives Achilles/Patroclus the relationship I knew they had when I read the Iliad that was not explored. tears are guaranteed. tissues are a must.
I finished it AND OMFG THE PAIN I FELT. i had to lay on the floor with my eyes close to be able to process it. It was so beautiful. It made me want to read more books like this one but I'm scared that I have develop high standards now lmao
I finally finished it and it was amazing! The ending was written so well I literally started crying.
I really enjoyed this one, but it didn't make me cry.ALSO the audiobook. Its wonderful. 10/10 recommend.
This book left me crying so much. I was heartbroken but it's a masterpiece and the audiobook was just a cinematic experience so good!!

I didn't cry neither. I very rarely cry while reading. But I can feel strong pain in my heart.
