What do the books from the Christmas in the City series have in common?

Is that the right order for The Callahans? They where published in a different order.

The Christmas in the City series is a series of interconnected standalones, the characters are all related to each other and all the characters appear in subsequent books in the series.

The fourth book in the Callahan series was published first as it was originally intended to be a standalone, but I went back and wrote the three additional books about other characters from the book, so in the chronological timeline of the series, the order I have listed is the correct order. It is also how they are listed on Amazon.
