David Martin | 3 comments 1980-85. A group of hostages are held at the former USAF base in Libya. The selection and training of the rescue forces are described. Rangers with an airborne armor element I believe. Israeli aid is sought because of similarities to Entebbe. The force goes in. They are surprised by a group of Libyan heavy tanks that were hiding on the golf course.
