I have Northern Lights - Philip Pullman but I am seeing that on page 1 it's known as The Golden Compass. Are they the same book in a different names or are they separate books??

Same book - look at the editions listed, it shows both. Many books are published in different countries under different names, but if the GR entry clearly shows same book, it works.
