Theory time: do you guys think this series will have a definitive final book?... and if so, will it be the usual novella length, or a full size novel?...

Wishful thinking: a full size novel and that the series develops more of an overarching story

What I think actually will happen: There will be somewhat of an overarching story, but all will be novellas, with a final novella. And short stories might come later?

I have no evidence to back this up, that's just what I think is gonna happen lol

Thanks for reading the series with me - it was easily one of my highlights of the last several months.

Book 7 thoughts (view spoiler)[this was definitely the eeriest one yet. I feel like we finally have a glimmer of what the overall arc of the story will be (maybe, I'm bad at predicting) with the mention of Magicians/Wizards whatever needing the magic that the portals drain. So they're essentially brainwashing these girls to prevent them using their doors for very non-altruistic purposes and I found that fascinating. And creepy. I liked all the new girls we met here too. I hope it's not the last we see of them as well.

I was expecting more water, though. Lol.

The promotionary packet I received for book 7 said that Paramount Pictures "aggressively" pursued the rights of the story, so I'm assuming that means they're going to turn it into a series soon. :)
