I have a very simple name but my first name is pronounced differently from the norm and my surname has several possible different spellings. I have therefore become very adept at spelling out my name using the Phonetic alphabet whenever I am talking to officials on the phone
For this task we are going to use the phonetic alphabet to select your books: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NATO_ph...... The alphabet is listed below.
This is a Two book task. No books with the main page genre childrens or kids can be used.
Book one: Read a book with a word from the phonetic alphabet in its TITLE (no subtitles)
Book Two: the phonetic alphabet uses words that may also be used as names.
Read a book whose SINGLE author has one of these names (in any position).
As we are trying to maintain the Phonetics of the words, words must be as written and spelt in the alphabet EXCEPT for
1. Juliett” where an E may be added or the T taken away– i.e.. Juliet, Juliett, or Juliette will be acceptable and
2. Whiskey which may be spelt WHISKY.
