what is a recommended team if i main kokomi? i usually use beidou/yanfei, xingqiu and zhongli with her. most of the time, i use beidou as i cant really split my skyward atlas into two for both kokomi and yanfei (plus, i dont have any four star books and stuffs 😃). i’ve tried out beidou, fischl, kokomi and xingqiu, as to following a guide. i kinda liked the fischl and kokomi combination as i can just put the raven (sorry forgot his name ;-; ) and kokomi’s jellyfish with an enemy while i can fight other enemies. plus, i really need help with my ar 35 ascension quest 🧅🧅🧅

Kokomi is strictly a healer/hydro application. I strongly discourage using Skyward Atlas. It's not possible to turn her into a DPS due to her passives, so keep it on Yanfei. Instead, try to keep Kokomi as a healer, and a reaction starter/finisher. That's really her only use, unless going against pyro infused enemies, such as pyro hypo. and pyro fatui skirmishers.

Dragon Slayer is the best alternative to Everlasting Moonglow. It makes her heals stronger, and the bonus, at R5, gives a 40% ATK bonus for 10s when switching characters.

As for the AR Quest, bring a pyro fir the electro Hypo, cryo abyss mage, and dendro shields, a strong DPS for wrecking mobs in general (especially the ruin guard), and a cryo or hydro for melt or vaporize.
That's just how I've managed to pass on America server, if course. I can't remember for any of the others. ;u;

thanks! btw, no offense, but my kokomi can actually do a lot of damage, based on my experience. im going to try out your idea anyways! tysm ^^ i really appreciate your advice

I mention she's meant for healing and hydro application only because she is unable to use Crit Rate, which is required for even a Sub DPS. So I'm curious of approx. how much DMG your Kokomi is doing? The best mine can do rn at lvl 70 is 200-300 without any ATK boosts, minus double pyro on the team.

hmmm i think my kokomi should be doing around 100-300 dmg at lvl40 but idk how much she does without atk boosts, gonna check later

Ah, okie dokie!

100-300 DMG actually isn't much, but it's better than what lvl 40 Barbara and Mona can do, from what I've experienced on Europe.

Soooo, I'm at AR 35 and I literally cannot survive in my world. I've been stuck on Dainsleif quest since world level 2 or 3 because I kept dying. I also tried a knowledge leyline the other day, and I had my entire team die almost instantly. I'm trying to get to world level 5 so I can decrease my world level and actually survive, however, I feel like I should probably fix my characters first. Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can build my characters more or make it easier to survive? My characters are, Traveller (c4 or 5 anemo, c3 or 4 geo ), Kaeya (c0), Amber (c0), Lisa (c0), Barbara (c0), Noelle (c1), Beidou (c0), Chongyun (c0), Diona (c0), Razor (c0), Sucrose (c2), Xingqiu (c0), Yanfei (c2 or 3 i think), Sayu (c0), Diluc (c0), Raiden Shogun (c0), and Hu Tao (c0).
If anybody could help me, that'd be amazing! I really love this game, and I find it difficult to find the motivation to play it when all my characters keep dying.

But anywho

(Anyone else, jump in because I'm not completely sure because of my style which could be considered very risky. I either hit-and-run or stay up close and personal until one of us dies.)

I had the same problem, and I definitely suggest starting on characters and weapons. Don't rush it, either. Make sure you can master the current WL before ascending. Also the WL decrease will only go down by 1 lvl, so you'll only able to get down to WL4, which is what I've chosen to stay at until all of my characters I use are at lvl 80.

With Dain's quest tends to be extremely difficult for me, specifically with the abyss mages and their reactions.

What's your main team, and the levels they're at? Their weapons, too, if possible. My personal suggestion is to max their level. Geo Traveller tends to be much stronger, especially when they can create a crystallize reaction to gain a shield.

Here's what I can see with who you have and can be ascended with Mondstadt and Liyue
- Diluc for Pyro, Pyro DPS, or just DPS in general.
- Kaeya for Cryo and/or physical DPS.
- Diona for her shield and her healing
- Chongyun for his EB and cryo weapon infusion
- Razor for physical DPS
- Geo Traveller for their EB and ES-Geo structure
- Lisa for Electro, ES, and EB (Personally, I believe she's the best for any Electeo-involved reactions.)
(I'm not too familiar with any of the others and I just dislike Barbara because of her ES's constant wet status. She risks overload and freeze, and I consider those dangerous.)

I would wait until you can safely say you can overpower almost everything before using Yanfei and Hu Tao because Primo Geovishap is insanely strong. Same for Ei and Sayu, mostly because they requires Inazuma for their ascension mats.

Okay, I'm SO sorry it took so long to respond. My main team is usually:

Sucrose, Level 50, Mappa Mare, Full set Exile, C2, Level 2 on all talents
Kaeya, Level 50, Prototype Rancour, Full set Berserker, C0, Level 3 on normal attack, level 2 on all other talents
Diluc, Level 42, Wolf's Gravestone, Full set Berserker, C0, Level 2 on all talents
Noelle, Level 46, Whiteblind, 2-Piece set Lucky Dog, 2-Piece set Adventurer, C2, Level 2 on all talents.

I usually use Noelle for her shield, Sucrose for crowd control, and Kaeya and Diluc for melt, as well as their strength. If you have any recommendations as to what to keep and what to change, that'd be amazing! Once again, I apologize for not responding sooner, I've just been really busy.

Ooo, I like the variety!

As a Kaeya main, I can definitely say his strength is best found as either a Cryo DPS or Burst Support. Since his EB carries out to all characters, this is especially helpful in Melt and Reverse Melt teams. He's not really the greatest as a physical DPS. I originally tried it, but I noticed I was using his ES and EB far more. After focusing him as Burst Support, he's easily my strongest! Despite that, Prototype Rancour is really good on him if you do use his physical a lot.

I'd say Noelle and Diluc are doing great! Always prioritize DEF on Noelle on artifacts, so 2 piece Lucky Dog is a really good start, in my opinion! Make sure her sand, goblet and circlet all have DEF as the main stat, and DEF in substats. I don't really use shields, but I do like that Geo Shields (Noelle/Zhongli) have a resistance to Elemental and Physical!

I don't know much about CC Sucrose. ;u; I'm not sure if she requires too much investment? I have no clue, tbh. I only really know her as an EM support.

Kaeya is really the only picky one, since he can be used as Cryo DPS, Burst Support, or Physical DPS. Physical DPS on Kaeya needs high investment due to his kit being cryo focused.

Is the Vishap Herd in the event the same as the regular normal boss? Because that was just straight up agony.

Of course, I had no idea that there was gonna be any vishaps, so I didn't get to change Kaeya/Chongyun to Diluc/Yanfei. Diluc's dps is insanely better than any of my others, despite crap artifacts. Too much def, not enough crit rate... *cries* He only has 48%... sadness...

Due to her insanely low base ATK, the only viable f2p weapon is Frostbearer, which you can get the blueprint of from upgrading the tree in Dragonspine. To make it, you need
×1 catalyst billet
×50 white iron
×50 starsilver

As for artifacts, I suggest 2p Archaic Petra (+15% Geo DMG) and an +18% ATK.
Sands- ATK
Cup- Geo DMG
Circlet- Crit Rate or Crit DMG
Substats:
- ATK%
- Flat ATK
- Crit Rate
- Crit DMG
- ER

Skyward Atlas! I have it on my TW/HK/MO and her atk is over 1,200 with some undesirable rng in artifacts. She's only lvl 59 atm, but her dmg is the stuff of beauty!
Not as strong as my Keqing-Raiden duo, but a very awesome second place already with my Albedo considering her low lvl compared to my lvl 80s!
