This is a bit hard for me. I am 69 so not that many options. I was looking for a fictional character, but some are much older and a lot are younger. I am thinking that I might do a memoir or biography instead. Still thinking.🤔

And I randomly clicked on one book that would work perfectly for you, that is, if you haven't read it yet. The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper
Somehow replying to posts in Goodreads is beyond me. Thanks for checking. From this list I have actually decided to read The She’ll Seekers, which has been on my shelf for ages. Thanks again.
Well, I thought I had finished my 52 plus all the challenges last week, and behold, 3 more challenges are added! Yeah!!!For someone my age, I read A Place Called Freedom by Ken Follett. The mean old dad is about my age!
For this one I am planning to read: Women in Sunlight—Frances Mayes. As the women are recently retired, I am thinking that they must be in my age bracket, plus, it just sounds like fun!
I just read The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman. The primary characters were all in their 60's and 70's so that might fit? It was very entertaining too!
I read The Last Heiress by Bertrice Small, 2 Stars. I used to like her books but this one really dragged and had unnecessary details.
Does anyone know of novels with a kick-a** heroine in her mid-fifties? Or even a strong female protagonist (in her 50s) who isn't an empty-nester, sad stereotype, or an afterthought addendum... I've got a Star Trek Voyager novel set after the time frame of the series, which makes Janeway fit, but...
I guess I'm not too surprised at how difficult it is to find such a book, but it is frustrating!
I just read Miss Benson’s Beetle and loved it! Would never have guessed that Miss Benson was my age! The way she was described, I thought her much older! But it was also 1950, so they didn’t hear about “50 being the new 40”! 😂🤣❤️📚
I went back and forth on this one and finally ended up reading The Shell Seeker, which has been on my shelf for about 2 years. I thought it excellent and I definitely will be reading more books by This author. Highly recommend!!!
Talking to Girls about Duran Duran by Rob Sheffield. The author is just a couple years younger than me. https://cdnbookworm.blogspot.com/2021...

Our November mini challenges were drawn from the same bowl of suggestions the three 2022 prompts were drawn from, so everyone had an extra chance at having theirs selected!
This one is a lot of fun, what will you choose for it?
by "same age group" the character doesn't have to be your exact age, just someone "in their 30's" or "in their 60's" etc.
There will not be a Goodreads List done for this prompt.
