the owlery is where all the owls, school and student owned sleep, eat or just hang around. students can come up to the owlery to send letters back home or else where.

Kaleb entered the owlery in hopes to contact his adopted father. He was writing a letter hime to inform him he did not make it into the triwizard tournament and he was indeed safe and sound with Margot at his helm. His letter read, "Dear Loy Pennyworth,
I was pushed into putting my name in the goblet of fire, but I didn't make the cut and I had a girlfriend who wouldn't allow it anyway. I am glad to say my studies are up to par thus far, but being an Auror is a lot of work. I hope someday I'll be as great as you are. I miss home, but I'm gkad Margot is here to keep ,y spirits up.

Margot marched up the stairs to the owlery. She held a letter to her parents to inform them that she is not competition in the tournament. The simple note was just three sentences.

Dear mom and dad,
I didn’t make it, I am not competing.
Love, Margot

When she tied the letter to the owl and watched it fly off, she spotted a figure, also sending off a letter. “Kaleb!” She shouted when she realized who it was.

Kaleb turned after sending his owl off, "Margot, you sexy vixen, I am so happy to see you! What were you sending out?" He asked curiously not having been aware that she entered her own name in the goblet of fire. "Did you enjoy that match?"

She hugged him "Happy to see you as well. handsome." She said. "Just a letter to my parents about the tournament." She said. "I had a lot of fun. Watching and not participating"

Kaleb smiled brightly, "You say that like you are disappointed not participating. Did you do something that I wasn't supposed to find out about?" He became more apprehensive. "What has my little lovebug been up to, huh, Mar?"

She blushed at the nickname. “If I got to compete, I would have got famous.” She said, an annoyed look on her face. “But then I am actually happy that I get to stay with you, K K.” She said, cuddling up to him.

Kaleb pulled back from her, "Mar? Did you put your name in the goblet of fire without telling me?" He was hurt more than mad. He was hurt that she would have ever gone behind his back after fussing over him doing the same thing.
