In a feat of amazing timing, I just picked up my copy from the library yesterday!
I really loved The Once and Future Witches, which is the only other one of hers that I've read, so I'm looking forward to this.

I'm looking forward to it! I've loved everything I've read so far by Harrow, and this has been on my radar for awhile. I tend to like fractured or twisted fairy tales.I'm currently sixth, I think, on the library hold list. Hopefully I can get it soon. And since it's a novella, it should be a bit of a quicker read during the busy time of the year.
I really liked both books I read by her, and I love fairy tale retellings. I think it'll be fun! My library doesn't have it digitally, so I just put a hold on the physical version. I'd just buy it digitally, but looks like it's "full book price". I don't really like paying full book price for digital books in general, since there's not a printing cost. And then, in my mind, novellas should be cheaper because they are much shorter. Or at least I don't like paying full price for a book I know I'll finish in a couple hours.
I am still #16 (of 40 copies) for the print book at the library. I might consider audiobook once I finish listening to my current book. I listened to the Once and Future Witches, along with getting it from the library and I was able to bounce back and forth. I don't know much about this book but you all are setting some very high expectations.
