SOLVED. Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been? By Joyce Carol Oates. [s]

We read this in english class this is about a real life event. A girl preteen or teen were dropped off at the mall but they went accross the st to where the teens hang out. She noticed a hot older dude -i cant remember if she dated him or if he just followed her home but as him and his cousin got out she noticed he was a lot older than she thought. There was a lot of empasis in what his car looked like in the story. I believe she was home alone because her family went to a barbecue and the men said they know where her family's at and theyd hurt them if she didnt come with. They also cut the phone line so she couldnt call for help.
