I shuffled my May plans, and can now join Library in reading this one.

Series: Chronicles of an Urban Druid
Committing only to book #1 at this time.
Not open to other months since I'll be reading it for a Q2 challenge.
I'd like to be added to Pride & Prejudice and Cloud Atlas in July!

No idea what months these are on, but I will be there :D Could we spread them over 2 months?

Saha, Verity and Sun Down Motel are in June; the rest are in May. You can always check the spreadsheet to double check: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

I'm sorry I can't. I've already had a buddy read plan in July which is The once and the future witches.

I would like to suggest the following books:
June 2022 - When God was a rabbit by Sarah Winman
July 2022 - World without end by Ken Follet
Thank you!

I'd like to join for The Once and Future Witches in July!

Dominique, The Devil All the Time is already posted so you can jump in whenever! https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

June

Mystery with strong psychological thriller vibes and a touch of the paranormal-ish, all surrounding a mysterious disappearance of a daughter, and a mother struggling to balance moving on with her life, and finding answers she may not want to know.

Highly atmospheric historical mystery, about the enigmatic disappearance of three lighthouse keepers, and the wives they left behind. Beautiful prose, and set in Cornwall so I'm drawn automatically.

Somewhere between fantasy and sci-fi, with a touch of mythology and set in a real historical background, this book extends across a millennia. A boy and a girl, a prisoner of war, and an interstellar traveler all united by the mysterious story of a man who wished to fly.

I love me some good old witch hunting books, and this one looks mega-promising! Mainstream horror and dark fantasy, this is the story of a town isolated "for its own protection", and what happens when its story goes viral. Hint: all Hell breaks loose!

In a story strongly reminiscent of John Wick, this dystopian fantasy book revolves around a stolen dog. There's nothing I could say to make this book more appealing than the description itself - "There may be no law left except what you make of it. But if you steal my dog, you can at least expect me to come after you."
August

Historical fiction, beautifully heartbreaking, and featuring 2 incredibly strong women, one of which may have some experience with being married. Old Hollywood glamour vs. present day reality, this is the epitome of the legendary "Age before Beauty/Pearls before Swine" era.

Ooo highly recommend that Hex suggestion, it was one of my favorite books last year!
