This looks like a good one! Just grabbed my copy and looking forward to a 4-top of group reads in November! I haven't read a vampire novel since 'Salem's Lot earlier this summer :-)

I love vamps and I already own this one and was planning to read it! I didn’t get to participate in the group read last month but def will this month!
I started this last night and I am enjoying it thus far.Any book that begins with (view spoiler) generally has more great things in store!
I made it into the haunted house and got out with just a scratch on Callie. I'm thinking it was a close call. More tonight.
I wanted to get ahead of reader expectations with that one.
I finished yesterday and read it in one sitting! I really enjoyed this! It was a really fun vamp read!

M, I envy your uninterrupted time to read a book in one sitting! I can't wait for Thanksgiving break here so i can put my feet up, grab a hot chocolate and my doggie, and just read!
I finished the story last night. I thought it was fun, campy goodness, and it brought back good memories of when I was a geeky kid in the '80s with a bedroom covered in posters of singers and movies. Awesome good stuff. I hope everyone enjoys this selection, as I did. A definite blast from the past.

I also wished for more queer representation in vampire media, so I wrote some myself. I think a lot of writers and readers who either bought into the Twilight craze or avoided it are coming back around, and there's the allure of nostalgia to thank for the vampire resurgence. I love vampire media and I especially love seeing how different authors play with the lore and mythology.

Finally started my read tonight, and I'm already hooked! I can't wait to see how it all unfolds :)

I just finished this one and very much enjoyed it! I gave it a 4/5, loved the characters, the suspense, and WOW, what an opening. Loved all the Lost Boys vibes and well, just a very good book all around :-)
