Wreade1872 | 933 comments I wanted something more finale appropriate but after many ideas decided on this question which i thought had been asked before but apparently not.

When and Where do you read most often?

I try to read during the day some but its harder to concentrate, my favourite reading time is about 11pm to 1am.
It used to be in bed but lately i've taken to curling up on a big comfy chair in the living room with a cup of tea.
I can only truly relax when i know most of the world, or at least the surrounding country is asleep around me :) .

At home, in my easy chair, when I have the house all to myself. My brother once said when he called, "You're probably sitting in your chair reading a book." He was exactly correct. I like to know I will have hours. Saturday, all day, is the best reading time. Whenever possible I like to finish a text in one sitting. For some books that is not possible.

Alternate.... I sometimes listen to audio books when driving or working / cleaning in my classroom. Last night I listened to 2 chapters of Little Women while cleaning the remains of a third grade (eight year olds) Halloween party off of the desks.

Luke (korrick) Either in the morning after breakfast or in the evening after dinner, depending on my work schedule. I always read in my reading chair bought specifically for that purpose.

Cynda | 5192 comments I sit at my writing table used for reading, writing, and coloring. I sit in an oversized office chair which for me means it's roomy, well cushioned, and stable--just what is needed for comfort and safety.

I like best to read into the night, alternating between books. Into the night because apartment neighbors and daytime busy street are all quiet. By alternating books so that different parts of brain can fire, keeping mentally alert for longer.

Laurie | 1895 comments In the morning while I drink coffee, I am in my recliner. In the evening when my husband is watching tv or at work, I lie in bed snuggling with my cat.
