I am really liking the characters especially Evangeline she is interesting to read about she just wants to forget her first love and hopefully also give Marisol a happy ending sine she feels so very guilty about what she caused I still dislike Jacks I just can't understand why people like this character he is so unlikable looking forward to whomever the love interest is. I am really loving the plot at first it starts with Evangeline wishing to stop a wedding only for that wish to go wrong so she drinks something and turns to stone for six weeks she wakes up and is praised as a hero is summoned to the empress whom is the MC of the other series still love her so much so she goes to the north with Marisol to meet a prince ends up finding Jacks again and she has to kiss the prince or she will die. As you can tell I still highly dislike Jacks. (hide spoiler)]

51%(view spoiler)[This book is amazing it is un put downable I was hooked from the very start. I still love the characters especially Evangeline I find her interesting I like how she interacts with Jacks even if I still find him detestable I do not like smarmy manipulative characters maybe in later books in the series I will like him more he is not the first "love interest" that took me a whole series to start to like. The plot is still very interesting where I am Evangeline has kissed the prince Apollo and he becomes enamored with her it takes no time at all for them to be engaged it took me no time to tell he is under some kind of spell put there by Jacks obviously so Evangeline writes to him they end up going somewhere to get some kind of information this book is so interesting unless something changes I still find Jacks unlikable. 75%(view spoiler)[This book is so good it is definitely going on my best books of the year. Most of the characters are still great especially Evangeline she is just so interesting she has an interesting dynamic with Jacks it is push and pull with the two of them it does not make him any more likable but other than that he is a intriguing character I want to learn more. The plot is so good so where I am at Evangeline got a way from Jacks to end the spell over Apollo so she kisses him and he dies and she is accused of killing him she can't seem to stop crying Jacks comes and they escape together he goes to get an antidote for the not being able to stop crying which would of killed her that person ends up being LaLa this is a Fate I actually like so they go looking for another Fate named Chaos that happens to be a vampire she does not like what she finds she hears her first love and goes towards him. So overall this book is amazing will finish it soo. (hide spoiler)]

100%(view spoiler)[This book was amazing I am really looking forward to the next book. Evangeline is still an amazing character if a bit naïve at times I liked that she was a bit cautious at least when it comes to Jacks he definitely does not have her best interests at heart other than a few things she is a strong character that I just rooted for the whole time. The plot is still amazing from where I left off Evangeline fell for Luc's words and is attacked but Jacks protects her and is bitten there is a thing with her trying to stop him she does not get bitten he falls asleep she finds a spell book goes back accuses Marisol of putting a spell on Luc she finds she was right so she tells Marisol of what she did so she yells for the guards they grab her the other prince admits he was the one to kill Apollo the spell on him cast by Marisol is broken after that Jacks contacts her she tells him to wait for her to come to him she finds of Apollo is not dead and everything that happened is most likely Jacks fault. So I am really looking forward to the next book. (hide spoiler)]

Yes, she did feel a bit naïve about things here and there. So I liked how this adventure helped shine what the world and the people/characters are like. She seemed fascinated by things so I liked that too.
