Personality- It’s common knowledge that Jace really feels nothing most of the time. He seems to be completely devoid of emotion, but those who are in this ‘group’ with him say he only has two. Sadistic Amusement and pissed off. He’s a sure-fire cannon, never stopping when he gets going. You can choose what field you think of that in. He sees murder as simple vengeance, though he’s aware it isn’t justified. And he doesn’t really care.
Love is a foreign concept to Jace. He has ‘never’ felt it, which just means that when he did he pushed it away and forced that blank mind onto himself again. He tries his best to fight it, believing that there’s no way anyone could love him because he’s a monster. Monsters attract monsters, and that’s a collision he doesn’t want to deal with.

History- His father gave him up at a very young age, and his mother died in childbirth. He grew up in an orphanage and was estranged from affection and care. He grew cold and cruel. Whenever families would come for adoption he would hear them tell the ladies,
“We don’t like Ezekiel. He gives an unsettling stare. Something must be wrong with him.”
So he believed it. Something was wrong with him. And he cared for a while, but as he grew older he learned something. Wrong means nothing when your morals are muddled. So that word began to mean nothing to him, but he still leaned into it. Something was wrong with him. But he wouldn’t ever look deep enough to find out, for fear of what he’d find.
