Trigger Warnings

This book touches on a lot of difficult themes. I won't list them here, but my regular readers will know I don't flinch from writing about the difficult stuff. I'm interested to know what readers' stance is on trigger warnings. Should there be a reference in the first few pages of the book that warns you about the emotionally disturbing parts books? Would that be heldful or ruin the reading experience by giving too much away?

I don’t need them but for those who do I reckon stick them in the back so those who don’t need them aren’t spoiled but those who do have them (maybe note at front to state where they are?)
