The story begins with Indy and her barista, Rosie, being shot at by someone. Her best friend, Ally Nightingale, tucks them away in her brother, Lee’s condo for safe harbor. Do you believe she knew Lee wasn’t out of town?

There was no doubt. I expected him to show up as soon as they arrived.

I don't think that Ally knew that Lee was coming home that night. I can't see Ally putting them there if Lee was going to walk in the door and find a strange man on his sofa. That could have turned out even worse than it did.

I believe Ally knew he’d be home. She took advantage of the situation and figured Indy would work out the Rosie issue. It’s what they do.
