I took it that she likes Rock and Roll and concerts. It isn't what I normally think when I hear Rock Chick. In my experience a Rock Chick was a groupie.
I hadn’t a clue and had to wait for it to take meaning. At first, I assumed maybe she’d be a rock band groupie (the kind that follows a band around). Then it became clear she was a fan of everything rock. By the end, I realized that the persona of a true rock music fan was what she identified with, from her music choices to her look. And, she’s proud of every aspect of it.
So, I did not take this literally. Yes, she likes music but a Rock Chick, in my opinion, is someone who is empowered, not afraid to be different, works hard. Kind of like the term Boss Babe that's used now a days.

I couldn't afford to following my favorite groups around the country even working full time. LOL
When i googled “rock chick,” this is the typical definition that came up:
A girl or woman who likes rock music and dresses in a typical rock-and-roll style.
A girl or woman who likes rock music and dresses in a typical rock-and-roll style.
