A couple of reviews (they're "spoilery," but it can't be a spoiler if the blurb on the back cover announces that there's a "big twist" at the end, right? ):https://www.theguardian.com/books/201...

so, as a starter, when did you start to sour on Rose?
I started questioning Rose's narration on p131 when she speaks of "my doctor's encouragement" and "the most serious turning point" that "marked the point of no return". I enjoy Rindell's writing as a "funny, astute observer".
While I do not remember when I started being weary about Rose, it was definitely in the very early pages of the book.Even early on that something was not quite right with Rose.
She seemed like she wants others to like her but yet becomes so opinionated about everyone without much facts to back it up.
Has anyone watched the movie - The Other Typist? If not, are you now interested in watching the movie?
Sarah wrote: "Oh....you have peaked my interest"I have heard that the acting was good in the screen version.
Hmmm. IMDB says that it is "in development, " though other web sites think it's a finished work hosted on Hulu. I'd be interested in seeing it, but not enough to subscribe to yet another streaming service.
