As someone who actually did get (view spoiler) I deeply appreciate your co-worker. My friends don't really censor their discussions, despite the fact they helped me gather the courage to tell my family what my ex had done for me for over a year. Knowing that there are folks out there publicly defending those of us who have been robbed of our dignity is a relief to me, especially right now with my paranoia.

i hope your friends try to start censoring their conversations, but i'm glad you managed to tell your family about what happened
yeah, it was comforting for me knowing that someone in my work environment was here for me. i just wish there were more people in this world like him

My brain is still processing it all, but once I'm able to emotionally handle it all, I know I'll get better fairly swiftly! I've been through some tough situations and I've made it this far in life, so I must be doing something right! òwó I've gone down into dark times but now I'm just straight up too stubborn to let life take me down that badly anymore. I just need to learn how to release all my bottles up emotions at a healthy way.

i work as a receptionist for a law firm
it's a pretty chill job
but anyways
a guy came in who looked to be about 17
we talked for a bit about why he was filing a lawsuit and i was like "okay sir give me one moment to find a lawyer for you"
i turned around to go grab a file from the drawer behind me and i had to bend over to do so
the guy started laughing, took a photo and was like "wOAH GIRL STOP SHOWING OFF"
i yelled at him and told him that if he wanted a lawyer he could find one elsewhere
