I don't think they'd actually put them into a mental hospital unless they're a physical danger to themselves or others around them. If they aren't, the person is probably misinformed about the problem and should try to seek out help for information from professionals.However, I'm probably only understanding from how things work in Canada, and that's actually setting the bar really low...Canada only started improving mental health a few years ago. (One of the only good things that has come out of Trudeau...) And I'm looking from the privileges of an adult...
