i was bored so i started writing a book
and it's about this guy named Cren who gets taken to another world
and the other world looks exactly like Earth but is plagued with monsters and violence.
the people in that world have magical powers, whether weak or strong, and they're like "yo lets cause chaos"
the reason there's so much violence is because the president, AKA the only person who kept everything under control, was killed.
so the gods have come down to that other world to keep everything under control
and it's like
action mixed with horror/thriller mixed with romance
because Cren and one of the gods, Loix, fall in love and stuff
the gods are made out to be the antagonists, along with the monsters.

anyways here's chapter 1:

Chapter 1: This Is Not Home
I awake with a startle. My whole body twitches like a fish out of water. My dream, what exactly was it again?
“Mmmh, Cren? Are you awake already?” complains the woman lying beside me. Who was she again? How does she know my name?
“Shut up,” I growl, pulling myself out of bed and checking the clock. The emerald green glow illuminates the room.
“It’s four in the morning. Let’s go back to sleep,” the woman cries, rolling onto her side to look at me.
“I can tell,” I mumble, staring daggers into the clock. “And don’t ever tell me what to do.” the woman buries her face into the comforter and shuts up. I’ll have to wash that later.
I peel off my clothes and dress myself in a black turtleneck, black pants, and a white wool coat.
“When will you be back?”
“Why the hell would you care?” I snap. Before she can say any more, I exit the room in a fury.

I pull a cigarette out of my pocket and light it. “This is why I don’t do hook-ups,” I murmur, looking up at the moon. “Although I’ve never been a people person. Maybe that’s why,” I chuckle, continuing my walk.
A few women that look to be around my age are outside too. Many of them turn their heads to look at me. I wink and smile, although I hate having their eyes on me all the time. I pick up the pace, trying to get away from them.
When I finally slow down, I find myself in an unrecognised area.
“Is anybody here?” I shout. Of course there isn’t. “Might as well just look around,” I tell myself. I observe the scenery and a glowing purple light coming from between two trees catches my eyes. I push my way through the overgrown grass and shrubbery and follow the mysterious light. I’d be the first person to die in a horror movie, I just know it.
“Is that a lake?” I ask myself, staring at the glowing purple water. The grass surrounding it is black and curled, falling apart at the touch. I cautiously approach the unusual lake, dipping the tip of my shoe into the water. My foot tingled at first, but the more time it spent in the water, the more I got used to the tingling sensation.
“Hey, don’t go too far in~!” someone laughs. Their voice is high-pitched and singsong, yet masculine.
“Why not?” I ask, turning to face the voice. I’m greeted by just the woods. There’s not a person in sight, not even a footprint.
“Are you bliiind? The grass surrounding the thing is burnt!” the voice says. “Now, let’s put two and two together. If the grass is burnt, then what’s gonna happen if you go too far in?”
“I’ll burn?”
“Congratulations! You aren’t a waste of life!”
“Go away.” I hiss, pulling my foot out of the water.
“Aww, now that’s mean.” the voice laughs. A slender figure stepped out from behind a tall oak tree. His hair was a beautiful shade of brown. It was warm and comforting, like coffee you’d make right after waking up. His honey eyes melted my soul and wrapped around me like a mother would hug her child. He has a pair of pink translucent fairy wings that illuminate the area and sparkle like crystals. A short, pink dress hugs his chest and matches his wings perfectly.
“So, Cren, do you know where you are?” the fairy queries.
“H-How do you know who I am?!” I shout.
“I suppose you could say that I’m like a god in this world. Along with my friends. They’re my protectors!” the fairy rambles on like this for a while before returning to his original question. “Do you know where you are?”
“Where I am?”
“Yuh-huh!”
That’s too simple a question. It must be a trick. It looks like home, but there’s a fairy boy floating right in front of me. That’s not something you see on Earth. The fairy boy twirls around in the air, looking at me through the corner of his eye.
“Am I somewhere that isn’t Earth?” I ask the boy.
“You are correct. This is not home.”

Chapter 2: Welcome to Zusoven

“What do you mean this isn’t home? Where the hell did you take me?!” I cry.
“I didn’t take you anywhere. The lake did all that.” the boy says nonchalantly. He files his nails and smiles at me. “Zusoven. That’s where you are now. I’m Loix Fontaine, one of the great seven. We all represent certain positive and negative traits. I represent beauty, fire, narcissism and lust.”
“Beauty? That’s debatable.” I scoff, waving my hand.
“Hey, that’s not a very nice thing to say to someone who’s about to give you a power so that you can survive here!” Loix blurted, dropping his hands to his sides and balling his fists.
“A… power?”
“Yeah, are your ears working properly? Maybe I should give you a hearing power,” Loix laughed, walking over to me. “Take off your jacket. I need to see what your body looks like.”
“My… what now? Hey, stop touching me!” I yelp. Loix doesn’t listen, just continues observing me.
“Ooh, you’re so strong~! That means you don’t need a power that’ll defend you.” Loix smiles, backing away from me. “I’ll look it over with the gods. Ahaha, this is so fun! Aren’t I so amazing and generous?” he delicately places the back of his hand on his forehead. “I’ll be back shortly~!” he practically sings. Before I can respond, he’s already flown away.
“Great, I’m alone.” I sigh, sitting down on a rock. In under a minute, a woman falls from the sky, knife in her hand. She’s aiming for me. In a frantic panic, I look around for something to attack her with.
“Loix? LOIX?! LOIX, HELP ME!” I yell, looking around for the fairy. Nothing happened though, and the woman is only getting closer. I grab a rock and aim it a little underneath the falling woman. I’m too slow. She elegantly lands, her pink hair falling in her face. She dashes to the tree behind me at such a rapid pace that a normal would think she’s teleporting. My eyes hurt from trying to track her. Does she, possibly, have a power? I try my best to dodge her quick punches and slashes, but it’s impossible to dodge all of them.
“You’re pretty fast for an outlander.” she laughs, dropping the knife and wiping her chin with her hand. “It’s a shame you’re gonna die soon,” she says, taking a deep breath and launching at me again. “You’re gonna regret being taken into this godforsaken world!” She yelled, not slowing down on the punches.
“What the hell is wrong with you?!” I cry, exhausted and gasping for air.
“With me? I’m one of the nicest people in this damn hellhole!” screams the woman, thrusting the knife into me. I cough, grabbing my stomach to try and prevent the blood from spilling.
“Hey hey, I’m back~!” sings a familiar voice. The fairy stops when he sees the pink haired lady. “Miss Chasity Green,” Loix groans, pinching the space between his eyebrows. “Please be kind to our newcomers.” he sighs, moving his right arm. When he does so, Chasity is flung to the right, slamming into a tree and passing out.
“Loix?” I grunt, my voice dry and raspy.
“Oh. You’re bleeding,” he points out. Horror soon takes over his calm expression. “Wait, you’re BLEEDING! That’s not good! What do I do?” he cries, pacing around in circles in front of me. “Just, uh, keep your hand there. I’ll take you to Raibyn, he’ll know EXACTLY what to do! Yeah yeah, that’s perfect! Ahh, I’m amazing, aren’t I?”
“Loix, I’m still bleeding,” I remind him.
“Ah, right! Sorry!” Loix cries, grabbing my hand and pulling me up off the ground. “You- You’re heavy…”
