and let me just show a snippet of how bad it is:
“Darkness, Lacey, I’m-” John suddenly faints
“John! John, are you okay?” Lacey cried, rushing to John’s side and pulling him into her lap.
Darkness was silent, observing.
John was still unconcious
“Please, wake up! Darkness, grab that pitcher of water over there!” Lacey demanded.
He did that.
Lacey poured the water onto John.
John woke with a start, “Oh goodness, hello”
“Okay.”
“You’re awake!It worked!”
