I just went on a hike with some of my family members in the deep woods behind one of the houses my family owns. We had two dogs with us and we let them off their leashes but they had their electric collars on. Anyways, we walked for about two miles through ice, mud, and thorns before the dogs ran out of our sight. We called their names and went looking for them before we heard howling and yelping. One of the dogs came back to us to lead us towards the barking and my dog was chasing away two coyotes that were sneaking up on us from the hills and the cranberry bogs.
We continued walking after we had that scare but another two miles later, the dogs disappeared again. One dog came back while my dog went missing again. Once again, we heard howling and yelping from the coyotes that got chased off before, they had been tracking us for awhile because I've trained myself to hear their cries and I had been hearing them run through the woods.
My dog had cornered the coyotes and was circling them because he's a hunting dog and he was made for hunting other animals. My dog scared the coyotes off and for the next twenty minutes it was fine. Until a sudden snow blizzard hit us as we were walking home

I've done that before, but it ended up being a waste of time, as only two people answered (including myself) last time I tried that XD. being the type of person that kinda slips under everyone's radar and easily unnoticed
