ehh not really. a lot of aros don't care for romance, but a lot also wish they could so instead choose to like have a relationship where they can kind of like simulate those feelings. aros feel strongly with friendships to the point where some think those are romantic feelings when it's just "omg you're my best friend ever"
it's kind of hard to describe. i'm trying not to speak for/over aros since i'm not one so i'm just saying from what i've heard from people i know and *cough* cavetown.
it's not like a lie type thing where they're pretending to love you and most will let the person know like "hey i am unable to actually love you romantically but i can still love you platonically"
