LindaJ^ (lindajs) | 2548 comments I nominate The One-Eyed Man by Ron Currie Jr., published in 2013.

Currie grew up in Waterville Maine, home of Colby College. I met him at a book signing for his prior novel at Longfellow's Books in Portland, ME, where the owner introduced him and handed him his favorite beer (PBR). He's written 4 books - one of short stories and three novels. This is his latest and the only one I've not read, so once again I'm nominating it again (last time was in connection with the Feb 2019 open read poll).

Bretnie | 838 comments I'd like to nominate The Care and Feeding of Ravenously Hungry Girls by Anissa Gray. The title and book cover alone have me intrigued!

Sam | 439 comments I nominate No Presents Please: Mumbai Stories by Jayant Kaikini translated by Tejaswini Niranjana. This is a short story collection that has won critical acclaim but little Goodreads chatter. The collection won the DSC award in 2018 and the translator just won the ALTA National Translation Award this year.
