Is there any hope for the Lake and Wallace families? Have they learned their lesson or is it too late? Will Paula continue to create a wedge between the children? Will Bill step up?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments Unless they all get some really good family counseling there is no chance for any change. But, I just don't see any meaningful change happening. Bill will continue to be MIA and has probably found #3. Paula may admit that Tommy isn't at fault, but I don't see her letting him have any place in her family. Austin will fight her every step of the way, but when Bill eventually walks Paula will move them back to Seattle.

I share many of your outlooks, Anita. Though Bill may already be hanging out with #3, I don’t think he’s up for another divorce and marriage. He’ll just keep doing what he’s doing. All Paula wants is to perpetuate an image in society.

The kids will probably thrive in counseling but Paula & Bill are lost causes, IMHO. I have hope for the kids but not the joint families. Jenny is questionable.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I think Bill will move on eventually. I see him as a man who can't take responsibilities for his actions or his children. I'm hoping that he hangs in long enough that Austin can make a decision where he wants to live. California has an emancipated minor law. I can see him leaving Paula and staying with Tommy and Jenny. If that happens I don't know what will happen to his sister. I don't see a good ending for these kids.

I feel that Jenny will make changes. She will get counseling with or without Bill and Paula.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I definitely see Austin moving in with Jenny and Tommy. I know Jenny must be feeling a lot of guilt and grief and I hope she gets counseling. Paula was already in the process of turning Bella into a mini me and I don't have a lot of hope that Bella is going to turn out okay.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments It will take a lot of counseling to see any meaningful changes in this situation. I'm hoping the kids have a chance.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I don't see much changing. Paula may let Tommy visit more, but I think she's still have any issue with it. Especially since his sister killed Ivy. Bill will never change.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I'm not sure Paula will allow Tommy to visit, but hopefully she won't stop Austin from visiting Tommy.
