Yes, I was almost positive that if Tommy wrote that letter, he had extensive help. I didn't ever doubt that he had nothing to do with Ivy's death.
As soon as Tommy is introduced, I knew he had help with the letter. I hurt for Tommy. He was a sweet soul; full of love for his family. I never thought he had anything to do with the death of Ivy.
At first I thought Tommy was a lot younger than he turned out to be. As soon as I realized he was mentally impaired, I knew he hadn’t written that letter. Five minutes after meeting him, I knew he hadn’t killed Ivy and Paula knew that.
I was sure that Tommy had help writing the letter; I also believed that whoever helped him did not skew the intended meaning of the plea for help.
