It's 1893, Big Red and his brother Old Red are hired as ranch hands at the Bar VR ranch. Old Red has taken a great interest in the Sherlock Holmes stories that Big Red reads to him. When two mysterious deaths happen on the ranch Old Red manages to get the ranch owners to let him investigate. This book was a lot of fun. The two main characters were enjoyable and there was an interesting mystery. I definitely want to read more of the brothers adventures.

This sounds fun, I like historical mysteries and Sherlock-type stories, so I'll look it up.
