*Closed Now* MOD Application for BOTM and Challenges

Hi everyone,

As you may have noticed this group has become very dormant for these past months and I am very sorry for that because it is my fault. I haven't been very active because of school. This has made me realise that we shuld have more mods so that this group is not so dependant on me.

So I am happy to announce that there are two (or if wanted three so that one mod can share the load with another) Mod slots open.

These are for BOTM and Challenges. Bellow I will inform you of what will come along with this:

BOTM: Each month you will need to make a poll where the group choses a genre. Once the results for the poll are in you will chose four books and the group will vote on what one they would like to read.
Once you have the resullts you will need to set up a folder where we can discuss this book, and you will also need to put this book up on the group home page.

Challenges: Each month or two you will need to organise a challenge that the group can do. The challenges can be anything you like, just make a folder and describe it to the group. You will need to keep everything up to date with the group.

Hello Zoe,

1. Hmm…any of the two mods. Preferably BOTM I guess. Would love to organize challenges with someone else though.

2. I don’t have a real life and I’m always active. Also, I love spending my time organizing stuff. I don’t know how good I am in it though . I also love to talk, even if there is no one to talk to. I’m very skilled at talking to myself.
And lastly, I have a terrific humor 😌. even though, most of it goes over people’s head

3. Yes, not now though. But surely, in a few days. Like I said before, I don’t have a real life, so I’m very active online.

I would love that. Hopefully someone who is as jobless as me.

5. Prosperity and success. On a serious note, I’ll try my best to keep all the threads active. Also, possibly have more active interactions online.

I think I would be a good mod because I have some experience being a mod for another group, so I would LIKE to think I at least know what i'm doing a little bit lol. I also can stay on top of things/keeping track/being there when needed. (or not needed lol.)

HAha absolutely goodreads is my go-to 24 hrs of the day. It would be nice to have more to do.

Yes that would be very nice/preferred.

aside from my personality✨ I would like to bring more activeness to this group, and hopefully get people excited about the group happenings. :p

Hello! My name is Sophie, and I’m excited to answer the questions and maybe start helping out around the group!
1. BOTM is definitely preferred, I don’t think I could do challenges because I’m terrible at keeping track of information, let alone the information required for challenges.
2. I’m a pretty positive person, and I would be very excited to come up with book recommendations!
3. I don’t think I would be the most active person, (I’m a dancer, and I go to a school that has a lot of homework) but I think as long I have notifications for whatever we’re communicating on, I think I’ll be good for doing polls ounce a month and communicating with everyone!
4. Definitely! I don’t think I could do challenges, but if for some reason I ended up doing that then for sure :)
5. Hopefully some good book recommendations, I also love to comment Bible verses on stuff (strong Christian here!) so I hope I could help someone out potentially with that! ❤️

I think I'll be a good mod because firstly I have some experience being a mod for in other group. Secondly I think I can make challenges which are fun and entertaining.

I am pretty much active 24/7 all the days of the week though I may be a little less active on Mondays.

I'd be a good mod because I know a lot of people in this group who are active, I've been in this group for a long time as well. The BOTM position is especially great for me because I love researching and discovering new books, putting up polls, getting and giving recommendations, etc.

Yes, I'm almost always active.

5. What do you think you will bring to this group?

I will bring a lot to this group by being more active, resurrecting dead nooks. organizing interesting BOTMs every single month and also encouraging everyone to participate in them.

For the BOTM because I like to do polls, and I would read the book we’re discussing before we start reading it in the group so I can help keep the conversation going. For the challenge mod because I would like to organize the challenge and give new ideas for challenges. I would also help keep this group active.
