Hi everyone,

If you are joining us for our Fall selection, Once There Were Wolves, we are at Chapters 21-22. So many emotions in this book. What are your thoughts about the story?

Mrs. Doyle offers to show Inti how to knit. Mrs. Doyle explains to Inti about her volunteering at the Dundreggan estate and tree planting. She shares with her thoughts about the deer population eating the birch seeds and Inti offers her thoughts about the wolves hopefully helping with moving the deer naturally. Mrs. Doyle explains to Inti about the unhelpful methods being done to re-wild Scotland and other unfortunate plans.

Inti later goes to a pub and finds Lainey there. She probes Lainey for answers about Stuart. She explained that Stuart made it home after being beaten up by Duncan. Lainey also explains to Inti she saw what she did with Stuart's body. While she is angry with Inti, she is also not sorry she doesn't miss Stuart after all the abuse. ''

Wolf attacks continue and humans fight back. Inti fights back too.

Inti learns more about Duncan from Mrs. Doyle. A kind side, the person she has grown to have feelings for. So what is holding her back from getting close to him? Inti sees Lainey at the pub. Lainey is aware of Inti's involvement with Stuart's body. She also has placed Duncan with Stuart that evening. Will Lainey share any information with the police? Can Inti and Lainey resolve their differences? Wolf attacks increase. Humans are fighting back too and so is Inti. Can she stop this angry population and keep herself safe and remaining wolves?

Have a good day.

Sincerely,

-Donna
