NOVEMBER '21 SERIAL READER CHALLENGE

THE POWER OF RELEASE - The ability to let go of what no longer serves you.



TO PARTICIPATE IN THE NOVEMBER CHALLENGE:

♦Pick five series that you want to read.

♦It can be a new or an on-going series.

♦Post the name of the series and the covers of at least two books that you have not read.

♦There must be at least two unread books in the series. No re-reads allowed.

♦You may re-post a series chosen before as long as there are at least two unread books.

♦Post series now through October 20th.

♦Pairs will be posted on October 21st.

♦Select a series for your partner between October 21st and 24th...sooner is better

♦Next month, read two (or more) books from the series selected for you.

Finished my first, Beyond a Reasonable Donut. Love this series! My second book just came out so is still being processed by the library. Hopefully it comes in by the end of the month.

I finished my first book Murder on Black Swan Lane yesterday and I have mixed feelings about it. While was a good story and mystery, I thought the last half of the book dragged. I also did not like (view spoiler)[the violence against a child. Particularly that it was explicit violence. (hide spoiler)] This one scene didn't feel like it belonged in a cozy.

I will probably listen to the next one in the series and then decide if I will continue.

It looks like I'm not going to get to read my second book in November. It was just published at the end of October and is still on order at my library. Hoping it comes in time to read in December.

I’m still in the middle of my first, even though they’re a favourite series. I was hoping they would be on Audible, as earlier ones were, as at the moment I’m having a lot more time for audiobooks while driving to work than I have to read real or ebooks.

If you are using a Kindle, you can have Alexa read to you...FREE! 👏🏻🤩 That's how I get around having to wait for a freebie Audible code. I am not being cheap, I just have no funds to buy anything at this time in my life. 😕🤷‍♀️

So I didn't get to Deck the Donuts in November but I'm finally starting to feel more confident about December - I was just checking the library website and the status has changed from On Order to In Processing. The next step is In Transit - can't wait since I love this series!
