Naruto is a manga about a young boy who wants to become the greatest shinobi in his village, who is known as the Hokage. He is shunned by society because he is the carrier of the 9-tailed fox who destroyed his home village, Konoha. This long story (72 volumes) covers his entire life story. From his first shadow clone jutsu, to him beating the strongest shinobi to ever exist, Madara Uchiha, during the 4th Great Ninja War. It also follows his lifelong rivalry with Sasuke Uchiha, the destruction of the Akatsuki, and the birth of a new age of shinobi.

I would rate this manga a 5/5. I like how the storyline fits with everything, I like to see characters develop over time, and how they react to change. Naruto is a great protagonist, and the challenges he has to face makes it clear that he deserves to become the Hokage. The side characters also add to the story as well, and to serve as people who will shape Naruto into the person he is now. This is currently my number 2 favorite manga, so I would definitely recommend this to read, especially for those new to the manga/anime scene.
