Excellent. I put you down for hours 1 and 19 for now. Does that work for you?

Paige beat you by 11 minutes to claim hour 6. What other hours would be your next choice?
You really don't have to be active on other sites to be a co-mod on here. But, if you want to chime in on twitter, facebook, instagram, tumblr, etc. while you are doing your co-mod hour(s) on Goodreads, that's great. Participating in other people's discussions and interacting on other readers' posts is a great way to support the community side of readathons, always.

I just checked with Andi, and she says you are set to do 18 and 19 on wordpress, now. Is that correct? :)

They are all accounted for now. You're welcome to pick up another co-mod slot in hour 20, 22, or 23 here on Goodreads though. We also have co-mod slots open still on facebook.

Thanks. I just saw that your Hour 20 discussion post is up. It is Hour 21 now though. Did you want to make your new discussion post into your Hour 21 discussion or post a second discussion question for 21?

It's that time again where we need volunteers to help co-moderate the hourly discussion threads. It's been a big success these past readathons!
START TIME: Be sure to know your start time. We all start at different times depending on our time zone. Hour 1 for Pacific time zone will be 5am, Central time zone 7am, and Eastern time zone 8am.
Event Time. The site we used for our event clock has changed a bit since last time, so I am still working out how to make it do what I want. We start at 8am EST, and the site is still useful for working out what time that is for you. https://www.timeanddate.com/worldcloc...

To be as fair as possible, the hourly slots will be given on a first come first serve basis. So in the section below, tell me which open time slot you would like to cover. I will update this thread as the slots are filled. If all the slots are filled or you would like to be an alternate in case of an emergency, just let me know and I can put you down as an alternate. Let me know if that comes with any time restraints.
Responsibilities that come with co-moderating: During your shift, you are responsible for posting an hourly thread with a discussion topic. Try to make sure your question isn't one that has been asked before during this readathon. Also make sure to answer any questions that any posts during your time frame and interact with people. But most of all, have a good time. If you look in the Archives folder you will find all of the threads from the previous readathons. There you will find some amazing examples of how these threads were handled in other readathons.
Once again, thank you to everyone who volunteers. Your help is greatly appreciated and we look forward to working with all of you on making this the most awesome event yet!
