There is not really such a thing as a reverse merge, it is/was the name for the workaround for duplicates that are too popular for the system to get the merge done. Which was in the past a more common issue, before some changes were made.
Merging the most popular edition just automatically goes to the second most popular edition.
It needs a reverse merge, or an ISBN correction (which I could do, but not sure that is the right way to accomplish this). I have separated the editions.
