Helpful Hints for Authors

If you're an author, you're in good company in this group. In fact, we have an entire section dedicated to helping our readers to get to know you and your books. Look for the heading called Author Meet & Greet below. Under that heading, you'll find specific threads you can use to introduce yourself, freely promote your books and giveaways, and request reviews.

It's best for everyone if authors keep self-promotion within the Author Meet & Greet section (or as specifically designated elsewhere). Readers are most likely to engage with authors who engage with them on our discussion threads on meaningful, non-self promotional topics.

Show an interest in what interests our readers. Let them know what interests you. Once they get to know you through your posts, they're much more likely to check out your books. And you can help preserve our self-promotion free zones as personable, interactive spaces. It'll be a win-win for everyone. :)
