ARE WE STILL FRIENDS? is the last track on Tyler the Creators 5th studio album IGOR, it is a conclusion to the love story that he takes us on. The album entails a love triangle. Throughout the entire album he is in a state of confusion, anger, and pain. with each song telling us how the character feels.

The last song is about after all of the pain that he goes through, and after he has come to terms that his feelings are not reciprocated by his love interest. He is posing the question of whether or not he and this other person will remain friends.
