"In the books, Max dies from a blow to the head delivered by Jonathan/Sebastian when Max finds out his true identity." (Another website mentions a hammer blow to the back of Max's head.)
It has to be either City of Glass or City of Fallen Angels. I read the final two books recently and it definitely wasn't in the final two books

can anyone please tell the book number in the mortal instruments series where Sebastian recalls the way he killed max lightwood in the third book??
It's written in italics I think..where it is shown in sebs pov how he first killed max and then injured isabelle....
Please help
