Emily | 17487 comments Why does it need to be deleted? It appears to have a valid ISBN.
EDIT
I see the second one is a duplicate. I will merge them together.

The entry to be deleted is a duplicate while the other version follows GR guidelines more strictly.

Miloš | 9 comments Okay, I see that you merged two editions, thanx.

But now the new, merged edition (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...) isn't connected to the original entry (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...). When I try to add this merged edition to the French one using the option "Add a new edition", the system instead takes me to "Add a New Book" page where it recognizes and offers me the merged edition as already existing, but when I click on it, it just takes me to the page of the merged edition - still not connected to the french one.

Could you now add the merged edition to the french one? And when I say "add", I don't mean "merge", I mean like "add another edition"?

Thanx

EDIT: Oh I see you already did that. Thanx again :)

Emily | 17487 comments We prefer to edit the valid edition with ISBN rather than merge it.

Add a new edition means to add an edition that is not on Goodreads yet.
After separating the two editions for merging, then we recombine them. So you would click "combine" instead of "add a new edition."

Miloš | 9 comments I see. Great, now the order has been restored.
