Kassie (itskassie) The specific article I was look at was the Case for Conserving Disability by Rosemarie Garland-Thomson, It is a published work in an academic journal. As such, it does not have a ISBN number, but a DOI. The full-text article can also be found separate from the journal. In this case, would it still be counted closer to a magazine or newspaper, thus qualifying it as NAB?

As a further note, Rosemarie Garland-Thomson has an author page and a number of works attached under her name.
The DOI is 10.1007/s11673-012-9380-0 (doesn't work as link, merely an identification number).

I'm 97% sure I was redirected here from Goodreads Help,

Hi Kassie

Could you please remove the name of the Help member who referred you to this group. This is considered calling out & not allowed in this group (there is a very good reason for this policy)

I can't get your link to open, sorry, but I think it would be the same as an article published in a magazine.

can you link to where it is published separately?

I'll leave this now as I am getting off the computer - mainly wanted to advise you to remove the member's name. :) Hopefully a librarian who deals with NABs can take over.

Individual journal articles (regardless of whether they can be purchased as individual pre-prints or reprints) are not considered books on Goodreads. If one is not listed on Goodreads, it should not be added. If it is already on Goodreads, it should either be deleted (if it has no text reviews) or marked as NAB (if it does have reviews).
