Some parts were ok like about where teresa came from and about the start of the flare but i think the rest of the book was pointless

Not just you! I think it was the most boring of the books and although I wouldnt say it was useless (it had some useful info), I still think there was a lot of time wasting going on and it probably could have been summarised to be the same length as crank palace
The Kill Order was my least favourite book in the series. Apart from Teresa's backstory and where the flare came from, it was kind of useless. I didn't really like the characters and the plot was boring. I agree that it could have been a short book like Crank Palace. We really didn't need a whole book.
I actually liked The Kill Order the best in the series if we don't take characters into consideration. It was really fun and slightly messed up. I'm a huge fan of apocolopytic/survival/zombie stuff, which I think contributes to why I liked it so much
I got halfway through kill order and didn’t even finish it. It’s my least favourite of the maze runner series. I hate Teresa anyway even though I get why she did what she did.
i feel that kill order made the series more interesting giving what happened in the past. i started reading this book series exactly the time covid started, so these books became so relatable to the current situation at that times and i think thats why they became more interesting
and yes I hated kill order. the whole point was to learn about teresa, who sucks anyway. the story in itself was good but the execution... ugh.

Well, honestly some of it was confusing, but I really liked the new characters we got to meet and it was interesting to get a closer look at how the events of The Maze Runner came to be.
I was just bored throughout the whole book. The only interesting part was the beginning with the sun flares, after that I had to force myself to finish the book. It was nice to see Teresa’s origin but yeah. We were introduced to new characters that I couldn’t really get attached to who die at the end of the book. It personally is my least favourite of the series.
I kept thinking that the book was finally going to turn into a very dramatic plot twist, and I kept waiting for the 'climax' but it never happened... honestly, it was disappointing and anticlimactic. if it wasn't in tmr series i would not have read past the second chapter.
I'm a big theorist and there are some parts in the book that I could see that can happen in our world. It also hints at why Teresa is the way she is in the other books.
I honestly loved the book but it felt unnecessary to add on to the series. It was a good book overall though
