SOLVED. Adult Chick-lit series set in a small town with investigation plot; light-hearted and funny to read, fun, quirky, girly main character. [s]

I know almost nothing about this book series. I saw one of the books in the series being recommended on a list about cute book couples a while ago, and i thought that I had written the name down, but I've just found out that I haven't and I really want to read this. Please help me find this!!

What I remember:
* It's a book series with a LOT of books
*I'm fairly certain is chick-lit but i could be urban fantasy???
* The main character is a woman and she is fun, quirky, girly, over the top in a becky bloom type of way
* The series is light-hearted and funny to read
* I think the main character lives in a small town
* She investigates crimes and other weird stuff that happens in her town
*She has a love interest who helps her with the investigations and it takes a few books for them to get together
* The book where they get together was the one that was recommended on the list I saw. It had a weird quirky title. Something completely random. *The cover was fun and colorful i think.
* The characters were adults
*It's not a very recent series
*Writer was female

I know is not much but all help is appreciated!!

It's maybe the Agatha Raisin books by M C Beaton .

Perhaps the Stephanie Plum series? I haven't actually read it but it's the first one that came to mind.

I haven't read them, that's why I don't have a lot of information. What really stuck with me was the random title. It had nothing to do with the plot of the series and it was kinda funny.
