41 -- Involves A Second Chance
Thanks for the Goodreads lists for each prompt. I went through this particular list last night and found nothing. I have just been through it again and I found Love In The Time Of Cholera

your second life begins when you realize you only have one by Raphaëlle Giordano (offering second chance to yourself)
I read "Second First Impressions" by Sally Thorne. Had to read it for book club and it fit nicely for this prompt too!
God of Gnomes by Demi Harper. A charming and somewhat harrowing tale of a character choosing the good of those around over his own desires. In the process he find redemption and happiness in his second chance at life.
Just finished an advance copy of The Accomplice by Lisa Lutz which is scheduled for relaase 1/25/2022. A important character is living under a different name hoping to leave the past behind.
Lisa Gardner, Never Tell. I think the whole novel is about second chances -- it's told from the pov of three different women who, in one way or another, get a second chance.
I placed Bright Young Dead by Jessica Fellowes under this prompt. One maid is trying hard to turn a new leaf in life.
I read “Misery” by Stephen King for this one. Poor Paul definitely got a second chance at life! I had watched the movie long ago but never read the book, so I was glad to finally read it!
I read A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin. I didn't like it, but I finished it. The entire book is about the MC getting a second chance to fix a mistake made at the beginning.
For this one I read One Word Kill by Mark Lawrence. Nick, the main character has cancer. But somehow he will have a second chance at life. Can't say how, it's a spoiler. But the book is great, totally recommend! Especially if you are into friends playing Dungeons&Dragons and having fun, until things go down.

I just finished The Perfect Husband by Liane Moriarty. I had originally planned using this for a different prompt - it wasn't until the end I realized it fit this prompt, too. :-)
The Christmas Joy Ride by Melody Carlson 2/18/22https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I’m putting Thursday Murder Club here because so many characters were having varied success with a second chance in life. And some were on the verge of getting a second chance.
I just started this 52 week challenge, but I have read lots of books so far this year that match some of these prompts! For second chance I read Seven Days in June! It’s a second chance romance about 2 authors that spent 7 days together when they were teenagers and met again many years later!
I listened to "The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe," by C.S. Lewis (excellently narrated by Michael York).

Another one of our “two” themed prompts for 2022, this one is a book that involves a second chance. This could be part of the title or the plot. A character could be given a second chance at life or romance, or an individual pardoned for a crime. It could also be a second chance for you as a reader! Maybe you want to give a book, an author, or even a genre a second try! Another phrase you could try looking up is "new beginnings"
