I was trying to add a new edition of this book as the copy I am reading does not have this cover picture and has only 392 pages versus 400. Goodreads would not accept it and referred me to the edition with this copy saying they had the same ISBN 9780091910082. There is also a Kindle version which has been entered completely separately and which has the cover that my paperback edition has. Short of leaving the ISBN off, I can't add my edition. Any suggestions?

An Alternate cover edition needs to be added without ISBN, that is the whole issue with alternate cover editions. The ISBN should be mentioned in the description and a librarian note. If you create the edition the librarians can add the notes.I combined The Kindle edition with the other edition.
I have created the alternate edition without isbn. The edition has the ISBN that is printed in my first note which leads to the other edition which appears to have two ISBN numbers.
