Okay so apparantly I wrote it wrong (haha sorry) I should have written:
log9(9)

This basically asks the question: to what power do you have to raise 9 to get 9? And the answer to that is 1

Another example: log2(8) asks the question: to what power should you raise 2 to get 8? The answer to that is 3, because 2x2x2 = 8

omg i had a maths test and there was this on question:

9^1/2= 27^1/4 divided by 3^x/1

9^1/2 (9 to the power of 1 half) = 27^1/4 (27 to the power of 1 quarter) divided by 3^x divided by 1 (3 to the power of x divided by 1)

And the question was work out x

Looking back at our convos, I realized how bad I am at math.

Let me rephrase my first sentence. Math is very complicated sometimes and I don’t understand why people decided to make things so complicated as to adding alphabets to numbers.
I loved math, until I had to find what the unknown number was.

Dear math, I’m sick and tired of solving your problems.

In sum, I realized, We hate the things we don’t understand.
