What’d you read in October?!?

Turn of the screw by Henry James. The language was a little difficult for me to understand at times but overall it was a great ghost story.
I read Survival of the Fritters by Ginger Bolton
This was a cozy mystery, the first in the series. I enjoyed it a lot!
The owner owns a doughnut shop, which made me want all the donuts. There were recipes in the back too which is fantastic lol

The Reluctant Matador by Mark Pryor
Chocolate by Joanne Harris
The Paris Librarian by Mark Pryor
The Sorbonne Affair by Mark Pryor

Know My Name by Chanel Miller,

Most of them were mediocre at best, except for Know my Name which I gave 5 stars (trigger warning: sexual violence)

I also read (or listened to) The Handyman by Bentley Little this month.
Didn't get around to Practical Magic but i will do at some point x
