Armand (armandyjaucian) | 245 comments Some really good recommendations here, but I like the Love theme the best. The past few years have been riven by so much division, dissension, and downright hostility that it just seems so apropos. It's like getting back to basics - sifting through the morass of our current vicissitides to center on that which is essential, on those uplifting, positive passions that give us the strength and tenacity to face the adversities that still lie ahead of us.

I also like how Karin broadened the range to which this theme might apply. All the better to realize and maybe even be grateful for the manifold gifts and blessings we still receive. I like how it does not have to be all sweetness and light, since as with most things, a surfeit of love can also lead us to dark places. Even now, I'm mighty curious as to how creative my fellow readers can get with it.

On an esoteric note, the year 2022 also happens to correspond to the card of The Lovers in the Tarot, which is Arcana VI. 6 (2 + 0 + 2 + 2) is also the divine number of the goddess Venus, who rules over love, beauty, and harmony.

I keep looking for the poll just in case I don't get the notification or something. When does that usually happen?

Winter (winter9) | 4998 comments Poll is up! Some themes got grouped together because of their similarities and we renamed one for possible copyright issues.
