Faith Chastain was impregnated by James McClaren while she was institutionalized at Our Lady of Virtues Hospital, had her pregnancy hidden and delivered twins who were secretly adopted out. No one outside of that hospital and the church is aware of any of it. Plausible or do you cry foul?

I really can't believe this could have possibly happened. I just can't see how the pregnancy could have been hidden from her husband, unless he didn't visit her for nine months and I don't think that was the case.

Yeah, it's pretty out there. I'm reading this as an entertaining piece of fiction as it's very implausible. It's more soap opera in some places than mystery/thriller or even romantic suspense.
